A climb of two halves with a 14% sting in the tail. The summit of the climb provides stunning views of Villena castle and serves as a tough sojourn for those wanting some extra elevation on rolling days towards the wine country beyond Fontanars.

We called it the Valencia Ventoux. Of course, it's not as famous, steep or as long as Ventoux, but it is a mountain on it's own with red and white TV and radio masts on the top.
